Passing through Gluckstadt the only hotel open was fully booked,The hotel owner called a friend to check availability at Apartuum Glückstadt and yes 5 minutes later we were in a large very comfortable apartment just 2 minuets from the market square perfect location.The apartment was spotlessly clean and so much space and everything one would need for a selfcatering holiday,kitchen with everthing you would expect a kitchen to have,comfortably furnished living area,large entrance area,very cosy bedroom and bathroom, even a balcony.Everything was spotlessly clean.We wished we could have stayed longer.If I am back in Gluckstadt again this will be my first choice of where to stay.

In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Tierpark Hagenbeck, Hamburg Museum and Planten un Blomen.
