Stayed here on a 4 night city break. On arrival the chap at reception went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He also advised us on bus routes into the city and provided maps. Hotel was excellent. Room was quiet and clean with a comfortable bed and nice linen. Room was made up and towels changed daily. Air con worked fine. Shower was a bit small and water not powerful but it did the job. Pool area outside looked amazing but cooler in October so did not use. Only had breakfast here once but seemed good value. On a hotel this size I thought there would have been an evening meal service. There were however sandwiches or pizzas on request that you could eat in the bar area or take to your room. We did not use the Metro at all as a local bus stopped outside the hotel that took you to the Vatican area and another 200 yards at the top of the street that went to the Colosseum area (£1.20/journey) Other attractions could be walked to from there. All in all a good experience.
