We were made very welcome by the owner and shown to a very well apointed room with a very large bathroom.
The superb breakfast was brought to our room and everything was there from fresh fruit salad, croissants, baguettes tea and coffee.
Located in a quiet location 10 minutes from Troyes

We needed an overnight stop en route and found this ideal. Booked because it was pet friendly and we were travelling with our dog. What a find!  Secure garden, with plenty of parking. Sylvie was delightful, and showed us to a lovely room with gorgeous bathroom, with the best walk in shower I have ever seen. The place was spotless and our dog was free to roam the garden. There was bottled water in the room, a tray with tea and coffee and cake and a coffee maker that did the most fabulous coffee. There was a fridge and plenty of space for the dog basket. Breakfast was brought in at our requested time, and we ate in the room, well feasted more like, bread, cheese, ham, croissant, pain au chocolate and fruit and yoghurt. It really set us up for the long journey ahead, and Sylvie gave us excellent directions back onto the main road. We really were made to feel at home here and felt we were leaving a friend's house the next day!  Thank you Sylvie for making us so very welcome. We would stay here again without any hesitation. It was all rather wonderful.

The room was spacious and charming, with tea making facilities.
The bed was comfortable and the breakfast, served in the room, was lovely.
We have already recommended it to friends and hope to go again next year.

Firstly, the lady who owns this fantastic accommodation has absolutely thought of everything terms of customer relations, she is such a pleasant, kind and genuine person. It was also a bonus that she loves dogs, and they were made more than welcome. We aren't a demanding couple but she was clear that if we needed anything we should just ask.

If we asked any questions beforehand her response was immediate. We managed to communicate well with my pigeon French and her better English!

The property was easy to find and well worth coming off the motorway for! There was a kettle as stated in other reviews with a choice of coffee's and tea's and also biscuits. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and more than enough was provided for us to take a pack up away, which meant we didn't have to buy anything further for our onward journey, and we were also able to refill our flasks to take away with us.

The grounds were very secure for dogs and children and it felt very safe. The wifi worked very well. There was a tv with an English news channel and an English music channel.

The accommodation was spotless, very tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom with a fantastic shower. The bathroom is very large and spacious and there are many extra's provided in the bathroom, which I haven't seen before except in boutique hotels in England.

There is no road noise. The room has heavy curtains in order to exclude early morning sunlight. There are outside lights and ample garden furniture.

We would definitely recommend this accommodation without hesitation and hope to return one day in order to explore this beautiful region.

My only recommendation would be to take enough euro's in order to pay the balance, unfortunately I didn't know this beforehand and didn't have enough to pay in cash, it wasn't a problem paying by card but I assume that as this is a very small business it incurs charges, so cash would be easier for the owner.

Anybody thinking of booking will enjoy the outstanding property, hospitality and kindness of the lovely owner.
