Ausfernerhof 

We stayed here for 4 nights on a family holiday to the Tirol, and it was all that we could have wished for. The hosts were friendly and welcoming (limited English but I got by with my A level German), the beds were oh so comfy and the apartment had all that we needed for our stay. There were 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sofa, and one of the sofas was also a bed. The sofa in the lounge is also a bed, so you can comfortably fit 6 people into the apartment. The balcony runs the length of the apartment which meant for lovely views from every room, and the little kitchen had all that we needed. The hosts even allowed us to run a wash through their machine in the basement, which saved me from handwashing all the dirty kecks :) The location in the middle of Berwang was perfect - we were a very short walk from the little shop (also very helpful, and well stocked), several restaurants, a bank and the tourist information office. We learnt about various activities in the area from both the handy folder in the apartment and the tourist info office, and used Berwang as a base for our adventures. I can thoroughly recommend visiting the local town of Lermoos for walks, hikes, the outdoor swimming pool and the Spar, and we also visited Bavaria from our base in Berwang with only a short journey over the border. There is also an outdoor pool in Berwang but we didn't use that as the one at Lermoos had a flume and slide for the kids. The area was beautiful, peaceful, and the sound of the cow bells in the morning was lovely to wake up to. The price was very competitive, and the entire apartment was very clean and welcoming.
