We stayed at the Hotel West End for three days. The hotel is very well located right on the Promenade des Anglais, within easy walking distance of Old Nice, a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, and of course the beach. The staff is welcoming, professional, and very helpful. We had a balcony room with a view of the sea. The room was very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The Promenade is active at night but we did not hear any noise with the windows closed. The hotel is beautiful. It retains its old world charm while providing modern amenities. Breakfast at the hotel's Palmeraie Pavilion was delicious with a lot of choices. The setting is private, relaxed, and surrounded by greenery. We also ordered room service for dinner from Le Siecle, the hotel's other restaurant, and it was delicious. We also took advantage of the beach package the hotel offers for Bleue Beach, right across from the Hotel West End (also a good experience). All in alll, we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel West End and would stay here again!
