This is a 200-year-old hotel that oozes charm and history, located about half a mile from the center of the old town. The rooms have huge, antique-looking armoires to add to the ambience. I had a very spacious room with a double bed and two single beds. The bed was comfortable. It was about 300 square feet. The bathroom was small, especially the shower, but functional. The breakfast room faces the street on the ground floor and is a delight, with a nice buffet. Service is excellent. Damien (from the front desk) rode with me in my car to show me how to get to the parking lot right behind the hotel, which involved a mile circuitous route, so the help was greatly appreciated. The price is very reasonable considering the prime location. There are lots of restaurants, shops and attractions within a few hundred feet.
