the house is absolutely magnificent, decorated with well selected artefacts, books and objects. it is as grand as it gets in sanlucar. pilar was so lovely and welcoming, providing lots of useful information. the beds are large and comfortable and it overall it was a pleasure to share her house, which includes tea making facilities. i loved lounging around in the common salon. the house, typically, gets very cold so need to be prepared for that. it must be great in summer though. it would help if they accepted payment cards.
