Really nice place to stay, absolutely spotlessly clean, very friendly staff. Great location. We consider the most important thing about hotels/guest houses is the standard of cleanliness and The Balmoral was exceptionally clean. We stayed in a refurbished room with shower en suite. All the little things like hooks on bathroom door, a tray in shower for shampoo & shower gels, good storage for your clothes, just the little things that make a big difference. Fabulous resident’s sitting rooms/areas, with far reaching views across the sea. The breakfast menu is small but quality of food is very good and cooked like a ‘proper full English ‘! Will be returning for a weekend break in December.
