Went for lunch and it was lovley beautiful scenery meal for 4 quite reasonable. Staff friendly .didn't like ladies toilets very dark an lights were on a timer.so by time light went out was having trouble finding my way back out.but definitely go back again.

This place is honestly one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Very well priced, good food, but most of all the staff our absolutely fantastic! you made our trip and we can't thank you enough for your kindness. I hope to visit again soon.

We chanced upon this place during a cycling trip through France and Spain, I think our trip would have been doomed without us finding it! Firstly nice clean rooms, with excellent facilities and great value. We had a lovely evening meal, again at great value. However the best thing about hotel Batalla is the staff. They really went out of their way to make our stay truly enjoyable. They even drove one of us to our next destination as he had hurt his knee and helped us fix another bike! I couldn't recommend this place enough; worth checking out even if you hadn't planned on staying in Bossost!

Great food.

An unexpected surprise!



Before reading on, note, the management were so put out at my (understandable) rancour, that they refused any payment, though I pressed! 

Well, what can I say, "sorry for putting you out!?". Arrived given key, went out for a quick walk after a long drive, planning dinner in the hotel and an early night! Came back to find the hotel and restaurant locked up and the only way in is with a door code (not given!). After phoning the "emergency number" twice and being sent to messages, A kindly (though a trifle non-plussed) passerby has a selection of phone numbers for these idiots, who, finally give us a code to get into the hotel! I am consumed with anger at the selfish actions that a hotelier, once guests had arrived, would then simply lock them out! The guy has taken my booking, my pass port and most certainly my money, what he has not done in return is give me access to WIFI, the room I have booked, dinner or any information regarding breakfast! Apparently it was a child's birthday - god alone knows what would have happened if we had come back half hour later (we arrived back at 8pm to move our bags in!). These people deserve nothing, nothing at all! I am still quivering with rage, right now!!!! 
Postscript - the only two rooms in use are next to each other, thé guests next door stumble in while we are doing our ablutions and give use the wifi code, an 11 year old happy for tonight and a 58year old happy to have radio 5 in the morning, but, really, all their info was scribbled on a scrap of paper and we had seen them struggle to get in earlier (making sure they could as we had earlier failed miserably). When we finally headed for bed, a walk across 3 metres of tiled floor had the disgusting ball of hair in the photo, attached to my foot! Really? Find another metier, your hospitality skills are zero! Please read my other reviews - I am generally generous, I have been here, too, these guys deserve zero but I had to give them one star!
Post Postscript : on discussion with management, in the morning, along with a lot of shrugging of shoulders, the responsible admitted he had had two calls the previous evening, showing me them, on his phone ...... And? and, nothing, he was at a party!!!!!

OMG I am soooooo angry!

We tried this restaurant as everything else was fully booked. We ordered a simple menu. Food was very simple too. Worst thing was having to wait an hour to be served the first course. Lack of charm, ordinary restaurant. Will never try again
