We had a wonderful 5 night stay.  Lovely food, lovely people and rooms with sea views.  The weather was also very good for the time of year.  A wonderful place to relax for a few days.  The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

I don't think I can praise this hotel enough.As always everyone is very welcoming. Our favourite hotel. We hope to return again next year,thank you Merchi, Diana, Fran and Pepe. They make us feel at home.

Friendly staff went out of their way to help us. The breakfasts were delicious with homemade cakes, freshly made omelettes and great Cortado! Located right by the beach, a beautiful walk along the shoreline gets you to many restaurants in a lovely setting. The ferry to Vigo is worth a trip to see the big city over the coast.

Following my last review in 2023, I can only say that everything is as good as always. Absolutely the most welcoming people we've met, maybe 7 visits now. I think that says a lot about this hotel.
We will be back next year, in May or June.

Here again. Simply the best place we have stayed in. Fantastic breakfasts and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. We were offered an upgrade to a duplex apartment at no extra cost. Everything you need in it, kitchen, balcony and great views. Football pitch opposite, so great to watch the games. Think about this place often and hope to return again next year.

We highly recommend Rodeiramar 2A, by Playa de Rodeira. We stayed there for 16 days in July, 2023. The hotel was recently renovated.  The decor is bright and refreshing.  The rooms and apartments are clean and well furnished.  Many rooms have ocean views. Their breakfasts include delicious homemade tarts, rolls, cakes, and more.  The hotel is family owned, and the owners are gracious and accommodating.  The staff was professional and superb making our stay there delightful  The hotel is a few steps from the beach, located near restaurants, shops, and live entertainment during the summer months.  Perfect location!  Truly a lovely place with beach access for a fabulous vacation.  We will come again.  Nancy & Warren

Visited here 5 times now, Merche and her family are so welcoming. The best breakfasts we have had anywhere in Spain. Volveremos! Perfect for visiting Isla Cies and Isla Ons from Bueu. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to experience a true Galician holiday.

We spent 2 nights in an apartment during a road trip around Spain. Communication before we left the U.K. was excellent. Unfortunately on the Friday afternoon we were due to arrive our car had a problem with its radiator. The hotel booked us into a nearby garage and accompanied us there to help with any language problems. A few hours later all repaired!

A fantastic family run hotel with an incredible breakfast! The family were so friendly and helpful it was a wonderful couple of days! A definite place to return to in order to explore more of Galicia and it’s wonderful beaches,  wine and food

As good as it gets!
Great localization! Near the beach and close enough to the city center and the passenger port. 
The room was very clean and cosy. 
The breakfast was amazing with an excellent choice of homemade pastry (and not only).

Fabulous Hotel and Location is Perfect!

I stayed here for a few days with my little dog, in an apartment with access to an open garden.  It's perfect for a relaxing time, so close to the beach (20 metres away!) and about 15 minutes walk from the Vigo/Cangas ferry.  The breakfast is really gorgeous - home baked cakes, cookies, fresh coffee etc.  a great way to start the day! Really good communication with the place before the stay and helpful and friendly when I was there.

Location: just on the beach, near restaurants and facilities with a parc for kids just outside and the sea..
Staff: Diana is just the most amazing host ever!! So nice, kind, helpful!! Thank you
Room: It has eveything you need for great vacation (all facilities, snall kithcen, frigo,  microwave, washing machine laundry machine.. you name it!) All clean and cozy to make you feel home. 
Breakfast: homemade cakes, fresh orange juice all served with lots of love by the staff. Great experience!
Free private parking on site

Hidden gem in galiza

A nice pleasant apartment resort a stone's throw away from Rodeira beach. We stayed in one of the duplex apartments with a small terrace to wind down in the evenings with a cold beer.
The staff always attentive to any needs or requests you may have.  In fact to make things easier you can just WhatsApp your requests to them.
The bathroom in the loft can be tricky for taller people but don't let that put you off.

Great place !

Myself, husband and 2 boys spent a week at Rodeiramar and could not fault it at all. We had a 2 bed apartment which was lovely and spotless. Breakfast was fantastic - the boys loved the cakes and I loved the café con leche!! The hosts are so friendly and helpful providing suggestions on things to do. Also the hosts allowed us to use the buckets and spades from the reception area for the boys to use on the beach which was very kind. Could not fault this place at all and will recommend to others. 

Cangas itself is lovely town and all the people we met we really friendly. 

I would totally return to Rodeiramar 2A. Thank you for an amazing week.

Great apartments

Lovely room with views of the sea. All the staff, from the owners to the cleaners, are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The owner booked our tickets for the ferry to the Islas Cies. The breakfast is delicious with different home baked pastries and cakes made fresh every day (the lady has her own baking show on TV so they are very good!). The beach is a minute's walk away. The owners have their own little boy so families would feel very at home here. We would definitely stay here again.
