We had a fantastic experience at the Floramar. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and clean, and the pool area is fantastic, with stunning views over the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Michelle on reception, and the restaurant manager. We were self catering, but did eat at the restaurant a couple of times, and the food was fresh and tasty. Our apartment had everything we needed, and it was well worth the upgrade to a balcony with a pool and see view.- the view was breathtaking. The only slight drawback was that our room was directly above the restaurant, so when breakfast and dinner were served the noise of chairs scraping on the floor was a little irritating. This could be avoided by pads on the bottom of the chair legs. The hotel is in a great location, with a couple of stunning bays within walking distance (may be difficult with young children/if mobility is an issue.) The hotel is located on a hill, but it's a fairly short walk to the beach/restaurants and shops. I would recommend this lovely hotel, and we would definitely return.
