Fantastic
Always wanted to stay in a cave house - so we did! Gorgeous set of cave houses built into one cave. We said in Higuera (fig tree) 2 bed house. Cosy, extremely clean with a very comfy beds. Each little house has its own bbq built into the cave outside and patio table and chairs. Each house is obscured from the others so you aren’t overlooked. Once we had the log fire on and the wine was open, snuggled down we felt like characters from a fairy story living in a cave! So romantic. The views are so beautiful of the Sierra Nevada. Guadix is nearby (used for Indians Jones’ film) and Benalua has all you need for food, drink and grocery shopping. The host was wonderful and met us on arrival - nothing too much trouble. If you come here go the local Bodega and do a tour. (Basic Spanish a good idea)
