Il Melograno

I visited Il Melograno in August in a group of 4 families with kids ranging from 2 to 16 years old. Each family had really comfortable quarters! We were all able to get together a enjoy a range of communal areas, and then to return to our respective family cottage/apartment for a bit of down time. The swimming pool was fantastic, there were delicious figs on the trees and beautiful vegetation around (notably an enormous pineapple-like palm tree over one seating area!). The property was so private too, even though Candida (the owner's) house was quite nearby, it wasn't at all noticeable. Candida was a spectacular host: she made us feel very welcome and helped massively with our requests. She went seriously out of her way to help me with a specific issue I had: it would have been completely reasonable if she'd declined to help, but it's testament to her kind character that she did. The surrounding area is BEAUTIFUL too: we found busy and quiet places on the beach, and went for wonderful long walks starting and ending at the property which took us through some beautiful countryside, towns, architectural relics. And the incredibly convenient supermarkets were just down the road too! We all felt in very good hands with Candida as a host and enjoyed our time at Il Melograno loads. I'd highly recommend a holiday there.
