This family-run hotel is exactly what you want for a ski trip in Austria. The family have been welcoming guests for decades and can offer great local knowledge and advice with genuine warmth. It’s almost ski in/out, depending on the time of the year (we had to walk about 25m to be on the snow, but in mid winter it would be right outside the garage. We had single rooms, but were amazed at how much space there was for storage so the room size was perfect. The hotel also has an excellent spa/sauna area, much appreciated after a day on the slopes. Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner were all included. We stayed a week and never had the same menu twice and the food was both delicious and huge portions. I could not recommend a hotel more highly if you want to stay in Lech, which we thought was a great spot if you want to be skiing.
