My husband and I stayed at The Almrausch in Lech from Dec 18-27. I cannot stress enough how amazing our stay was! First of all, the cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. I have never stayed at a hotel or b&b before this clean. The decor is beautiful and the place was well taken care of. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The service is fantastic and everyone is very kind and helpful. The hotel is a true ski in/ski out location - lots of people advertise this and then you have to walk forever to get to a lift. You literally can walk out, walk a few short steps and then be on the hill. You can purchase your lift tickets right at the bottom so it is very quick and efficient. Perhaps the best thing about our stay at The Almrausch was the food. Everynight a delicious 5 course meal is prepared. WOW! I can honestly say this is the best food we have ever ate! It was absolutely amazing - my husband commented that he hadn't used a salt shaker for 9 nights while we were there! The food is of superb quality and excellence - absolutely unreal! Thanks so much to the Goja family and team for making this our best holiday ever. We would highly recommend this hotel and if returning to Austria - would definately stay again. Ps - The snow was amazing!!!! :)
