Pension Muggengrat 

Finding reasonably priced accommodation in Lech isn’t easy. However after much searching and based on good reviews and a good location, we booked a four night stay at Pension Muggengrat. Our host, Barbara, was extremely helpful from start to finish. We were due to arrive at 1:30 am so were given an entry code and instructions for accessing our room keys. The rooms were all very clean, spacious and recently refurbished. The beds were very comfortable. It’s not often that one can get a single, which was great as we were a party of 5. Breakfast offered a great spread of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, meats, eggs, cheese and bread, along with endless tea and coffee. There is also an honesty bar where you can help yourself to drinks and then write down what you’ve had in a book. There is also tea and coffee available in the afternoon. Parking is available for guests, and there’s a ski room for Skis and boots (with warming rack). It’s a five minute walk to the nearest chair lift or there’s a bus stop next to the pension. Barbara couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay. She made recommendations and reservations for dinner for us - all of which were very good - and even let us borrow some sledges for the post dinner toboggan run (the highlight of our trip). This is a wonderful family run pension offering a high standard of accommodation. All in all a wonderful trip (and we loved the dogs too). Thank you.
