Ancona 

My wife and I stayed here en-route north from Luzern to Calais and found it on the GPS not far off the motorway. The staff were very friendly and willing to please and the room was large and clean with nice fresh bedding and a very comfy king size bed. Free WiFi and a good en-suite bathroom. The best part of this hotel was that it is traditionally French in character and is recognised by locals as having the best restaurant in town. The food was fantastic with the chef leaving the kitchen to chat to the customers and checking that the food was being well received. The restaurant was well used by locals and there was a nice atmosphere. We were towing a 10 metre boat which was too big for the hotel car park but were able to park it a short distance down the hill close to Lidl. A beer at a table on the pavement outside the front door was very pleasant. Breakfast was as already stated on other reviews, fresh bread, brioch, coffee, croissants etc. A little pricy for what it was but nice and we would stay there again.
