This incredible bed and breakfast is amazing. Julia is such an incredible hostess. This location is walking distance to downtown. They have a GREAT pool. Breakfast was amazing. I cant say enough except stay here you wont regret it

An exquisite but expensive bijoux chambre d'hôte. There's at least four bedrooms set in what was probably the stable block of the mansion house where you take breakfast. 
Inside the rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, and very well equipped. 
What makes this special is the use of a pool, just across the garden. There's even special pool towels provided. 
Breakfast is served in a gloriously eccentric room in the house, with a great range of cooked meats, cheeses, breads, pastries and confitures. A little expensive at 120€, but probably worth it as long as you can make use of the pool.
A note about meals: Le Plessis is around 3km from the centre of Blois, and feels quite a long way if you're not travelling by car. If you have to walk, there's a shorter path through the Lycée car park opposite that takes you down under the railway line and onto the riverside where you will find two good restaurants L'Embarcadere (recommended) and ASSA (Japanese, and also highly rated). However, the Lycée itself is Lycée des Métiers de l'Hôtellerie et du Tourisme du Val de Loire,  and consequently runs a highly-rated 25€ bistro on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Due to an autoroute closure we arrived about three hours late in Blois and very tired, so on arrival at Le Plessis we were a bit dismayed to be unable to find the entrance! This could be due to my poor French on booking but a Dutch with fluent French couple also staying had the same problem and of course the mobile had no service just outside the hotel. When we finally got through on the phone it really is quite easy but not sign posted. For the record turn right off Rue Albert 1er just after the property, go to the big green gates and ask Madame for the entry code, preferably before arrival.

Once inside, this chambres d'hote proved to be spotless, very pretty, comfortable and well equipped. The star of the show is the lady owner who really cannot do enough for you and made us so welcome.
The peaceful garden was great for our dogs but the weather was a bit wet for us to fully enjoy it.

Breakfast was excellent in the fascinating salon, plentiful and high quality

My wife and I were in Blois on a cycling holiday and planned a stop at Le Plessis. Before arrival, one of our bikes broke, the lady was amazingly helpful.  She helped arrange for the bike to be picked up and repaired.  Then on arrival we found a haven of peace.  Beautiful garden.  Gorgeous breakfast. Lovely bathroom.  Very comfortable bed. We spend a night with a couple of friends,we have been wonderfully welcomed by the owner . The rooms were very nice ,calm and a great view on a beautifull park . we recommend the one on the first floor .the bedding was wonderfull, everybody slept like babies. We had a wonderfull breakfast with fresh croissants, great fresh baguette ,and a nive variety of cold meats.
May be a little bit too expensive compares to other chambres d'hôtes of the same catégorie . We ´ll go back

Le Plessis is a property of Mme. Patricia. She is very lovely and helpful. Recommended us a very nice restaurant in the surroundings and made a reservation.

She offered to refresh our botle of wine and give us glasses and corkscrew. She was even waiting us to arrive from late dinner to give us the refreshed bottle.

The property is lovely and beautiful but it's a private house that only can be seen from the outside. Guest rooms were probably added later.

Our room and bathroom were extremely clean. When entering there was a small mould odor. Maybe the rooms are to be kept more frequently open to let the air circulate.

Downside was the aircon. It's extremely noisy and you cannot sleep with it turned on. Luckily the property was very fresh late at night and in the early morning.

We had a breakfast (included) in the rooms of the house, the only place where you can go. Music was very proper, decoration old-fashioned and very elegant. Croissant is to die for. Unfortunately we could have just one per person.

Overall it's good but pricy. EUR 120 is too much for what is offered. Maybe around 70/80 would be fair.

It's not a hotel, it's a private property that offers rooms, so no credit cards accepted, be prepared in advance to pay in cash.

It's also not straighforward to arrive, in the street you have to go to small entrance. the best reference point I can tell is that it's in front of a Lycée.

On the other night we spent at Châteaux des Tertres and it was terrible, so we would prefer to had spent here at Le Plessis.

Bed and Breakfast not bad.

Atter 9 hours driving we arrived one hour before our room should be ready.
We rang. This happened.
We: good afternoon, we have a reservation.
She: you are one hour early (not: how was your trip?)
We: we know, but because of traffic its hard to predict eta
She: but your room is not ready
We: that’s fine but can we use the toilet
She: no, thats in your room and its not ready
We: we know but is there another place
She: your room is not ready so no toilet
We: we booked here for two nigths, can we use the toilet?
She: toilet is inthe room and thats not ready....

What ashow of ‘hospitality’.....
We left, called Booking.com and managed to cancel this reservation....
