La Margot'ine

Went there for lunch with a group of 4, including friends and family. Great welcome, fast and effective service, delicious food. Would definitely recommend the place to have lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable and affordable.

Room was adequate but good shower room and best shower I had all holiday! The inclusive breakfast was fantastic. Lots of it and all delicious. Hotel was excellent value for money. We dined in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.

Reasonable prices.
This was our first dinner of this trip to France and at first it seemed pretty average.
Now, at the end of the trip, I have to say that this was our best dinner of the trip, both in terms of service and food selection and quality, although we also went to several expensive restaurants. Apparently, our initial expectations for the famous French cuisine were too high.
The review is for the restaurant, not the hotel.

Excellent place to stop by

Excellent place to stay, offering good value for money, with high quality on site restaurant

we had booked this as part of our onward journey and thought we would be welcomed, as confirmed from 3pm and be able to eat in the resturant then have a good nights sleep and carry on with our journey.  We arrived 3.30 the place was closed, no one answered the phone, no note and we were left standing on the pavement.  An elderly couple who lived opposite tried to assist (our fault French is non existent) they finally managed to contact the owner who said he would be there in a "couple of hours" and there was no resturant facilities.  Being in a very small place there was nothing else available.  We journeyed on and would definitely not recommend this, as the booking terms and conditions were not honoured.  We have since had our reservation cancelled, with a note in French which I think said a family emergency.  Not the way to run a business.   Hense the terrible rating.
