This restored country house was used by our company for an overnight stop on the Camino de Invierno. On the downside it is quite a long way from the Camino but , as part of the stay, a free pick up and return to the Camino was included. This worked very efficiently. The house is mainly stone walls and wooden floorboards. Very atmospheric. There is ample parking for those driving. Set in a small garden which would be nice in clear weather. We had booked a twin room but were given a room each with a jack and Jill shower . This meant we had plenty of space as there was a separate entrance 'hallway' with wardrobes. Dinner was available on request which was simple and rustic. A lovely open fire was lit just for us. The meal was good value and , when we came to checkout, discovered the wine was free! In terms of the surrounding area it looks like there is some nice walking. It is set in a pretty hamlet and there was a restaurant ( not tried) about 300 metres away. There was also a nice riverside area with pool ( summer only) . Breakfast was continental but we were given very fresh eggs. Wifi workd well. Would recommend and would stay again .
