Only 1 hour from Madrid, I chose it for a alone getaway and I wasn't disappointed at all! Definitely old school camping, the way I like it! It's small but I visited during September so it wasn't busy. I used a tent, the ground is mostly soil with few small smooth river rocks, all good! Lots of trees and mountain feel, tho it's attached to the village so every now and then you get to hear cars from the road and the locals being kinda loud hanging out at the restaurant of the camping. Clean bathrooms and showers and the restaurant was good. More food options and mini markets are walking distance at the village. There are cabins as well and I also saw a separate area where you can do bbqs (it was closed on September). Special mention to the fantastic staff that were very polite, available for whatever I needed and I was given a fantastic tip for a lovely spot to swim alone at the river. I will definitely go back!
