This was one of the most welcoming and homey places I have stayed. As a solo traveler, having a safe place to stay with kind and helpful people if I needed anything made a huge difference. Plus the breakfast (not included but very reasonable) was excellent! Thank you!!

What a lovely couple, couldn't do enough for us, including letting us take our luggage there at 8.30 a.m. straight off the ferry. Comfortable bed, quiet area. Good optional breakfast at a reasonable price.

My husband and I were going to our friends graduation in Aberdeen and came across this guest house online. 
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely lady and made to feel very welcome. 
Our room was spotless and spacious and the location 10/10 
We stayed 2 nights and were sad to leave.

Very friendly greeting when I arrived, along with some good pointers for things to do in the area.The room was comfortably spacious, and I really appreciated the little folding chair and table, which made for a decent laptop work area.I chose a room with a shared bathroom - I thought this would be much more inconvenient than it was. The bathroom was only shared with one other room, and I never had to wait for it (and I'm not aware of the other room waiting on me, either); there was also another bathroom up the stairs if needed. The mini fridge was very convenient, and a decent tea setup.The biggest negative was the bed; the springs created uncomfortable lumps in the bed. Mostly I was able to get comfortable, but there were a couple of times I woke up in pain.Other smaller negatives: I wish there had been more places to hang clothes, rather than one peg I had to crawl across the bed to reach. It was also about a 20 minute walk to get to the main area of town, and longer to get to the beach or coast - still perfectly doable, even in wetter weather, but I wish there had been some more things to do closer to the place. I could also hear doors slamming and people talking; other guests were generally quiet and kept pretty conservative hours while I was there, but I could see it being a nuisance with louder guests. Overall though, especially considering the price I paid, I was very happy with my stay and will return if I'm ever back in Aberdeen.

Nice stay, reasonably priced, lovely people

Aberdeen was my niece & I's 3rd stop on our Scotland train trip. Unfortunately, we had received some terrible news from back home in Alaska and weren't in the highest of spirits. Rona and Joe welcomed us into their guesthouse, and were so kind, supportive, and absolutely wonderful. We ordered breakfast both mornings (10 pound) and did not regret the high quality home cooked meals. The room was not what the pictures in the listing looked like; it was even better. The bed was very comfortable, and the ensuite was updated and had everything we needed. I loved the comfortable chairs that were set up in the bay window alcove, as well as the beautiful colors and feel of the room. It was very clean, and had lots of things that we would need, like towels, hot water heater, cups, coffee, tea, dishes, and mugs. I would 10/10 stay here again.

Comfortable stay, good bed and clean modern room. Run by a very nice and helpful couple.

Just What We Needed

We absolutely loved our stay at Hannah’s guest house. It was very modern and clean beautifully decorated. We upgraded to the king size bed and the room was huge. We just melted into the bed it was so comfy. The host were so lovely, we enjoyed talking with them at breakfast time. They were very helpful with giving advice of where to visit during our stay. Even though we weren’t allowed to go to restaurants and pubs after 6 due to COVID they were happy for us to order takeaways to our rooms. We would definitely recommend and return in the future. 

Modern and friendly 

What an absolute gem of a place. Stayed here for a couple of nights on our first ever visit to Aberdeen recently....how lucky were we to find this fabulous guest house. We were looked after by the wonderful Rhona and Joe. Fantastic room, so comfy and welcoming...lovely Scottish breakfast which even I couldnt finish. You actually eat at the breakfast bar in their kitchen while they chat and entertain you.  These two are simply amazing, so warm and welcoming...you arrive as a guest and leave with 2 new amazing friends...cant wait to stay again for a longer spell...you cannot stay in a nicer place, with nicer people....thank you guys for a lovely time when we weren't feeling our best....looking forward to seeing you again....Bryan and Lynne....from Sunny Scunny...xxx

Gem of a find

I would thoroughly recommend Hannah’s, ideal location / lovely clean rooms / great facility & great hosts.
For breakfast I had a full Scottish, however there was plenty of options for cooked and continental breakfast - mine was delicious & filled me up for the day.
Will be staying there next time I’m up & would recommend to anyone.

Great Business Stay

I recently stayed at Hannah's Guest House and had a very nice stay. Hannah's is about a mile or so of downtown and is an easy, pleasant walk. There is an excellent pub/restaurant next door which I ate at twice. 
Hannah's does not have a dedicated parking lot but this was not a problem at all. The street parking was easy and plentiful.
The hosts at Hannah's, Joe and Rhonna, made my stay very enjoyable. I left clothes in the closet and they were happy to ship them to my next destination. Great hosts.

I had a great stay

Our hosts Rhonda and Joe were great. They made us feel so welcome and at ease. The room was beautiful and clean Breakfast was very big and tasty.In the room not only was there tea making facilities but lots of lovely little treats to eat . Overall it was a great break with wonderful hosts who couldn’t do enough for us.

Great break

Both Rhona and Joe are fantastic hosts and are very welcoming. Immediately upon entering we got chatting and were showed to our room. While chatting, our hosts were happy to suggest things for use to do including useful information like the location of the bus and train stations, alongside giving us a visitors parking pass for the car. 

The room was clean and homely, with the en-suite being immaculate. The facilities were great with Tea, Coffee and a few breakfast bits in the room, just in case we didn't fancy the Scottish breakfast (which we both recommend).

Overall a great weekend, we would definitely recommend Hannah's Guest House to anyone and will be returning. 

Worth the Drive

Just spent 3 days in Hannah's lovely guesthouse. Our rooms were so comfy,tastefully decorated and above all run by two exceptional hosts Rhona and Joe. Breakfast was excellent.Although the guesthouse is a 10-15mins walk from Union St/bus station,it is worth going the short distance to stay in this lovely place which is close to Duthie park.Would highly recommend as the hosts are extremely attentive to your every need. Thanks Rhona and Joe.
