Stayed at The Flint Barn 1 night only. Comfy airy room with amenities.Although there was shared bathroom I never saw or heard anybody so classed it as my own Close to Newmarket and surrounding areas. One of the best Full English Breakfasts I have eaten.Real coffee and newspapers.Will certainly recommend it and would willingly revisit.

Had an excellent stay here! The room was very spacious and very comfy beds! Full English breakfast on offer in the morning which was delicious! Owner was very helpful and even drove me up the road for my interview! Wish I could have stayed longer!

I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Not the easiest to find from the road but what a stunning place. Rooms were lovely, mine was huge! Breakfast was delicious, bathrooms are both beautiful. I can imagine it can be noisy at times but I had no issues when staying. Hosts were lovely and polite ( ignore that one slightly negative review) I would come back and visit again. The local pub is a 1 minute walk away and that has very good reviews, it’s a 5 minute drive into Newmarket and loads of parking. 

I booked one night for a business stopover. I followed my Sat nav down a quite country lane to a stable yard complex. The Flint barn is part of a traditional stable buildings. I was told I was in “the Annex” which turned out to be a large double bedroom, large living room with two sofas, nice kitchen with a table for two and a nice bathroom. It would make a great base for a few days, even had its own external patio doors.

Breakfast was around a large table with the other guests, I enjoyed both the food and the company.

I’d be happy to stay here again.

Stayed here end of October whilst on a course in Newmarket. Nice quiet location, plenty of parking in yard, with a pub a couple of doors away.Warm welcome on arrival, shown around room and how everything worked. Nice and comfortable sleep and a great breakfast in the morning. Stayed in a room with en-suite, which all worked well, take care when booking as not all rooms are en-suite. Would l stay here again ? Definitely !

I stayed at the Flint Barn a couple of nights whilst working fairly locally. It was difficult to find and it would have been helpful if there was a sign from the street to identify its location. Thankfully I recognised it from a photo. There was ample parking. 
It took me a while to find somebody on my arrival and I would say the welcome was polite rather than genuinely friendly, with no attempt to make conversation which did make me feel a little uncomfortable. 
I liked my accommodation which was well presented, roomy and comfortable. I appreciated the biccies in the room and nice quality toiletries. The bathroom was clean and spacious. I slept well both nights as it was quiet and peaceful. 
The breakfasts were standard fare, but again little attempt at even polite conversation from my host. I don’t expect a discussion on War and Peace but some basic chat would have been nice. 
I wouldn’t rush back to stay here, especially if on holiday but it served a purpose whilst I was on business.
