Beach view was great and free parking on the street was easy and we got parked right outside the hotel, there were 2 payable car parks very close by also

everything was great apart from the TV not being connected to wifi

Lovely clean room and bathroom. Sea view with tea and coffee .

I have stayed at Bon Ami quite a few times & often book direct with Anil. Main reason for visits is to see family, esp my mum. Anil is always quick to respond to my messages & always have great communication. Bon Ami is great for me as it is self check in with key safe, so you can arrive at your own leisure. You get sent check in details usually the day of arrival. This is room only accommodation & we will usual eat either with nearby family or use The Thatch for a great breakfast (which is directly opposite) or for evening food there is Spring Tide or Iconic, both in walking distance. Bon Ami is just over tge road from Lowestoft's South beach. You can park on the road but do be careful of the loading bay parking areas. Have stayed in a few different rooms. Rooms that we have stayed in are always clean, have had toiletries, tea/coffee facilities & have hand/bath towels (not sheets). This accommodation is perfect for what we need  & can't thank Anil enough, even with short notice, due to current circumstances. Have stayed in double & family rooms.

Clean and tidy, fabulous view, very lovely hosts.

A great place to stay in Lowestoft.Excellent value for money.We had the Deluxe room and it was worth every penny.Spacious, comfortable bed, super clean bathroom, tea and coffee.I am a well travelled person and this was super comfortable.The view was amazing, breakfast over the road and free on-road parking. Perfect. The hosts were super kind to make us comfortable with check in and out. A lovely visit to Lowestoft.

As  I've already said. An amazing welcome. Will stay here again.

Great stay, Great sea front location

A great place to stay in Lowestoft.

Come down from the North for a funeral. The property is very well located over looking the sea. I was in room 8, not en suite but my own bathroom across the landing. Instructions to access room sent early on day of arrival. Easy to access room. The room is exceptionally clean as is the bathroom. I do have a sink in the room as well as TV and kettle with plenty of sachets. Bedding and towels smell divine! Bed very comfortable and an oil filled radiator as it has gone chilly! Overall 98%. Only niggle is no glass in the room - wine from a mug is not the same 🤗

Great little place to stay

We had the deluxe sea view (room 2). It was very nice and spacious with a large bay window and a settee to look out to sea. It was a reasonable price and much better than some other more expensive hotel rooms. Yes..it was room only rate but you had breakfast places across the road and 100 yards down the sea front at the pier plus shops in the small town just a few mins walking distance. Free Parking on the road outside might be a problem but we found a space always just outside or a few yards from the property. The only down side was a very small on suite bathroom but it was no major problem. Very clean and well maintained property that i would gladly recommend!

Great value property..lovely sea front location!

Chris the host was very welcoming into his newly acquired guest house, located on the seafront, which he recently took over with his partner.  The rooms were well equipped & spacious with the front rooms having a splendid view of the sea.
There's also a nice lounge at the front -again with great sea views.

Bon-Ami Guest House -Lowestoft

Bon-Ami was very well kept, clean and in a perfect location just across the road from the beach. Julie, Barry and Ruby were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was just right, plentiful with local fresh ingredients. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with Sea View room which had a lovely view of the ocean. The bed and the room were so comfortable with everything there that we needed. Not forgetting Floyd, the ever present house pooch who is always up for a fuss, nice home from home! We will definitely stay here if in the area again.

Perfect place, perfect location, perfect hosts..

We had a 2 night stay at the Bon Ami for a long weekend in July. Barry and Julie were very friendly and welcoming. Our room exceeded our expectations, we had the deluxe double, which was so light and airy, with massive bay windows which gave us a magnificent view of the sea and beachfront. The bed was a 4 poster which was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room, with a sofa and 2 chairs in front of the windows. The en-suite was very clean, with a good shower and the added extra of toiletries. We had tea/coffee facilities in the room with plenty of choice and biscuits. The breakfast was excellent - very tasty and great choices, served in a lovely room. We really couldn’t have asked for anything more. We actually looked forward to returning to the room!

Fabulous stay at the Bon-Ami Guest House

Very nice, quaint B&B just across the street from Lowestoft very long seaside. Had a single room with a basin in it and a private bathroom across the corridor. Basin in the room was absolutely a plus. And I got a complete and beautiful front seaside view! 
Our room rates included a full, cooked breakfast with a selection of light, fully cooked or cereal-based breakfast. Bargain, if you consider room rates in high season in coastal towns. 

The Hosts were very friendly, professional and gave us a warm and pleasant stay throughout.

Unbeatable seafront location, warm and friendly Hosts

My wife and I spent two fantastic nights at the Bon-Ami guest house.  The hosts gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know during our stay.  The bedroom we had was over looking the sea and the view was amazing.  With a lovely four poster bed we had a lovely sleep waking up fresh and ready for a full English breakfast.  Most definitely come back again in the near future.

I went here in August with my son daughter in law and grand daughter.lovely period style three story house.Barry and Julie the owners were happy to assist in anyway to make your stay comfortable.Light and airy decor.I stayed in a luxury front facing room.Large windows facing the sea.ensuite everything for a relaxing stay.Breakfasts were varied for all diets.Friendly owners who made your stay great.Beach literally the other side of the road!! Beaches very clean and great for families.Or for a weekend break!! Lowerstoft has a lot to offer and surrounding areas!! At the Bon Ami nothing is too much touble. Spoil yourself!! Put this on your to visit list!!  Tip top hygiene wise!
