We returned to this quaint and comfortable Hotel Restaurant Taillard in the village of Goumois which is half in France and half in Switzerland and joined by the bridge which crosses the beautiful River Doubs. We were again lucky with the weather which was perfect for a stroll by the river and lounging by the little pool in the hotel‘s garden. The rooms (nos. 5 + 17) were spacious and very clean. All the staff were helpful and warm and friendly. We ate here both nights and enjoyed wonderful, authentic French cuisine and wines. It was another excellent experience and we‘ll go back soon! Thank you team Taillard.
