Le Manoir de Nabinaud is a little slice of heaven. It is in a beautiful location and is stunningly decorated. Nothing is too much for hosts Joanne and Hayden who are warm, welcoming and so helpful. The breakfast is a treat of organic, free range scrambled eggs, salmon, pastries, cheeses, delicious jams and fruit. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely pool and gardens. We stayed in the Cerise and Nectarine suites which both have fabulous views and are spacious and comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend Le Manoir de Nabinaud and hope to return next year.

We very much enjoyed our three-night stay at this beautiful property.  Joanne and Hayden are wonderful hosts.  As an example, we decided to eat a ‘picnic’ dinner the night we arrived.   Joanne immediately set up a table outside providing plates, cutlery, wine glasses etc.

Our room Cerise was large, tastefully decorated with a separate seating area and wonderful views.  Although it was not that hot during our visit air conditioning is available.  Wifi access is excellent.  One thing of note is that there is no working table in the room although one is welcome to use the lounge (and if there in the morning Joanne will quickly offer you a coffee).

Breakfasts are first rate, with fresh eggs from the chickens prancing around the property to the salmon, o meats, cheeses, breads and all other breakfast choices.  One of the better breakfasts of our trip.  While dinner is not served Hayden and Joanne provide recommendations and bookings at restaurants generally in nearby Aubeterre-sur-Dronne.

If you want action this is not a place for you.  But if you want to be out in the country for some quiet time in a spacious environment with gorgeous vistas over the fields and land this is it.  There is a large (warm) pool along with attractive grounds.  In fact ,after my wife showed an interest Joanne gave her an extensive tour. 

Without hesitation we recommend staying at Le Manoir de Nabinaud.

Absolutely Wonderful. A beautiful property run to a very high standard by 2 lovely welcoming and helpful people.
Each room is spacious and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was magnificent. The location is wonderful. We cannot rate this accomadation highly enough. Joanne and Haydn are wonderful hosts providing any help and information you need for your stay. We were in the area for a wedding and not only was the accomadation wonderful, but Joanne and Haydn also arranged our travel between venues. If we return to this area, we are coming back. We have never felt so relaxed away from home as we did here.

I stayed in Citron, which was a stunning room with exceptional views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. There are wonderful places to walk directly from the property, including the River Dronne, which has a lovely swimming area, a bar with a food menu, a maze and a tree top trail. There is plenty to do in the areas. I would highly recommend it!

We stayed for 5 days en famille as a base for a nearby wedding.  This is without doubt one of the most restful and charming places in which we have ever stayed.    The facilities are brilliant - large comfortable rooms, peace and quiet. A breakfast to rival any - fresh scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, cheese, cold meats, yoghurt, croissants......Endless coffee.  The hosts treated us like family and could not have been kinder or more helpful.   And there is a pool which is warm even in September and two slightly eccentric dogs.   Perfect

After staying here in March, we returned in August for a week and it was even better.
This time the weather was warmer and the refreshing swimming pool a cool respite from the heat.
The charming owners, Joanne and Haydn have added 8 laying hens to their ‘animal family’ and have made some subtle changes to improve the overall accomodation and grounds in the few months that they’ve been here.
Breakfasts served on the terrace with far reaching views and peaceful surroundings was a treat. 
Cold meats, cheeses, smoked fish, yoghurt and fresh pastries with homemade Jam set us up for our days out exploring nearby.
The Chateaux and Market at Chalais, the charming ‘beau village’ of Aubeterre and the wine tours around Bordeaux all within easy reach of this peaceful little haven.

We stayed at Les Chambres first for three nights, then decided on the spot to stay again for two nights on a return from the South of F a week later. We woke to beautiful views, the odd cluck of chickens, and the promise of another wonderful breakfast of croissant, baguette, yoghurt, fruit, cheese and more, with as much coffee as we could drink, not wanting to move until the hot morning sun forced us to.  The area is a very beautiful one, surrounded by fields of sunflowers and wheat, and you are a very short drive from the Beau Villages of Aubeterre sur Dronne, which contains a monolithic church and beautiful town square. The views from the house are complimented by the garden which you are free to wander through, or swim and lay by the pool.  A late night walk was wonderful at the edge of the cornfields. 
The owners, Joanne and Haydn are relaxed and charming and made us feel more than welcome.  
The rooms are bright, clean, very comfortable and with enough hints of luxury to stand out.  Some rooms are big enough for a family and all have air conditioning, which was a must for the hot temperatures that hit France at the start of July. The owners have two delightful and gorgeous dogs, who snoozed by day and kept wonderful company when asked to! We will definitely be back. 

If there was a thousand stars button possible to rate this property I would. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and charming. We felt instantly at home in their gorgeous house and beautiful garden - loved every single second of being there and would really like to go back again next time we visit France. A massive thank you for making our trip so incredible.

We had a wonderful time - The property is gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful. It is a well-designed house with plenty of space and the guest in mind. My bedroom was located next to two others so ideally for sharing with my family. Joanne and her husband are super hosts. Breakfast was a treat and very delicious with fresh breads and amazing scrambled egg. I am now back to work with a bang and all I really want to do is return and spend some time relaxing by the pool! I highly recommend this property.

A leisurely drive from Bordeaux through picturesque countryside we arrived at the little gem that is Les Chambres de Coco.
We were warmly welcomed by the new owners Joanne and Haydn Jones and their two dogs, Yankee and Indie.
The house itself has five quality rooms (including two suites) with hardwood floors, chic furnishings, comfy beds and funky en-suite shower rooms. 
All the rooms have individual touches but similar magnificent pastoral views. Each morning the sunrise was spectacular forcing us to get out of bed to watch it before having fresh warm croissants and coffee for breakfast in the extensive dining room.
After our busy day trips out visiting Bergerac, St.Emillion and Perigueux all within an hours drive away it was nice to relax in the cosy seating area helping ourselves to drinks from the Honesty bar, playing scrabble or watching DVDs.
Aubeterre sur Dronne is less than 5 minutes drive away and has a selection of bars and restaurants set around a pretty square.
The swimming pool looked lovely but the weather wasn’t quite warm enough to try it out! A good reason to return during the summer months.
A lovely stay and can highly recommend this Chambres d’hote.
