Room, the surroundings, the food was all first class, I will stay here again

Nice and clean room, however a bit small. Friendly staff and good dining hall but expensive.

Rooms were spotless, spacious and very well finished. Breakfast was also very good.  Id stay here again.

Didn’t have breakfast due to early departure

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the 3 Pickerels.The staff were all very friendly. The food was delicious and generous portions.The hotel is ideally situated for our trip into Ely. Would definitely return.

We loved our stay here! The countryside was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable and it was updated in a cool modern style. The parking was close and it was just a quaint, cool place! Didn't have enough time to eat there, but judging by the popularity, I'm sure it was good!

Super place for our one night stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Seems recently refurbished as room fittings and furnishings excellent standard.

Beautiful room, balcony,  amazing views, great service.

Staff  friendly and helpful.  Room beautiful,  bed extremely comfy. Food excellent.Lack of hanging and shelving space the only down side.

Very clean all round. Big TV which makes a change from the little ones in most places.Staff very good. Bathroom good but in our room the rain shower head needed attention has it looked like several holes were blocked and it sprayed everywhere.Only small complaint is if we had the bedroom window open the wind was noisy thro the bedroom door (whistled). It’s also a pity you have to go outside to access the bar and restaurant from the hotel side, poor design. Hotel, food and staff excellent

The room although small was lovely , it was clean with a really lovely view. The meals were excellent , couldn’t fault it. My only complaint was the atmosphere in the bar . Wanting a nice drink after the meal we had to put up with a group of young loud mouthed men whose language was atrocious . Expected bar staff to have a word with them but didn’t until we complained . Spoilt the evening . The staff where very friendly however .

Great dinner, enough choice, price just about ok.Great breakfast (and big)Great staffBeer prices acceptable.Only shame was bed was too soft (and pillows) It was probably a quality, expensive bed but we found it so soft it was difficult to sleep on (which is the reason to stay there!) Almost felt like head was lower than our feet.But if you like a soft bed 10/10The weather wasn't good enough for us to spend time outside, but the facilities were ideal for a sunny day.

Great stay, but bed too soft

We chose this hotel for it's location by the river, sadly the weather put pay to our plans of unwinding outside with a drink. It's not so tranquil as you can hear the noise from the road.
Sadly, the bar area is a mis mash of tables and chairs and not that comfy. 
Very friendly staff, quick check-in. Lovely modern, comfort spacious  room.  We dont think it would be great for longer than a night as with the exception of four coat hangers there is no storage for your belonging,  quite bazaar. The room is quite warm.
We booked room 6 as we wanted a river view. The view is of the car park with  the river beyond that. The public can see straight into the room as there are no  net curtains!
There is no internal access to the restaurant from the rooms. In the event of rain, snow etc its a  very strange concept to need to go outside to get to the restaurant. 
Lovely comfortable modern hotel,  We would return in the summer if we were in the area.

Really enjoyable stay, staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Outside setting was lovely despite the grey weather, would probably be awesome on a sunny afternoon/evening. Ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and portion sizes huge. Great selection of drinks in the bar. Stayed in a double room with river view on the top floor. Room was very clean, bathroom and shower were great and the bed was super comfy, had a great nights sleep. Overall very enjoyable stay, would happily go back.

Lovely place, super staff

The pub-Hotel was ok, just a little disappointed with cleanliness, soaps looked liked they was there from previous guests, really should be wrapped for next guest to use. Coffee machine uncleaned still had pods in from previous guests, just little things that can be improved.As it is a pub can be a little noisy until customers leave so be aware if you have early starts next day

A wonderful place to stay. 

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at The Three Pickerels and will definitely be returning. 

We received such a warm welcome from Josh who booked us in and showed us to our room which was stylish, modern, cosy, comfortable and super clean. It had all the amenities we needed. 
Later we dined in the hotel and once again were impressed by the warm welcome from Aaron. 
The food was excellent as was the service and ambiance of the restaurant where once again Josh was politeness itself. 
Breakfast the following morning was delicious and when it was time to go we wished we’d booked another night. 
Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so enjoyable.

A wonderful place to stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in many a year. We arrived 2 hours early and were given key to the room and a very nice young lady showed us the way and explained the facilities. 
The evening meals were excellent, portions very good and excellent quality food and drink, the lad who served us was pleasant and always smiling.
Lovely nights sleep was followed by a super english breakfast and real coffee. 
What a way to finish the stay. We had a walk around the grounds and it is plain to see the grounds have been lovingly tendered with great furniture etc. 
We will be back.

Great small hotel in superp surrounding

Visited for 3 nights at the end of June.  Bedroom was reasonably spacious and the bathroom was modern and well appointed with a good shower.  The main problem was the room was too hot.  The hotel provided a fan, which we had running all night, which probably helped a little, but the main problem was the design of the building, which soaked up the warmth of the sun.   First floor rooms may be slightly cooler than those on the top floor.  Breakfasts were good, although we kept having to ask for sugar and butter, which, for some reason, was not supplied on the breakfast table.
